My "Busy Momma" Book Review

As a busy momma, I rarely get time to actually sit down a read a book or magazine often, but when those few moments do happen, I dearly treasure them. So I decided to share with you a few of my current reads, when I have free time, and why I am enjoying reading them.

First up,

The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin.
This novel is quite hilarious at times and at other oddly relateable. It isn't what you would first deem it as by the looks of the title - a self'help book- but more like a book about a woman who started her own journey to her pursuit of happiness, while doing it in a 365 day, steps all clearly planned out way. Its comedic and filled with ideas I found myself wanting to try personally. All together, I think it's a good book to get you out of your own head for a while and into another busy mom's journey to more self-inflicted happiness.

Next, a newly favourite author of mine,

The Fire starter sessions by Danielle Laporte.
This book right here... GOLD. I believe thay any woman on a new path to entrepreneurship, whether a start-up business or a blog, should own and actually read this book. Filled with amazing, down-to-earth examples and inspirational context, this book was written to help push readers to a new sense of self. Becoming more bold and confident with the skills and passions you have been given, and how to make practical use of them while building your self-esteem and creative mind for what's to come. I love the way she has different size fonts and working to make them really stand out at you while reading. For example:

When do you normally see this a a book your reading? My point exactly. She has a way of shoving you real hard and saying "COME ON, GO AHEAD AND DO IT" with her way of writing in this book, without actually doing or saying it like that. I am a lover of motivating, self-help books for business minded people, and I am not ashamed to say it. I would encourage any one aspiring to start a business or blog to go and read this book by any means! And while you are at it, you can also check out her inspiring site here. You can also purchase her book here.

I would like to end of this post with an inspirational picture I loved and wanted to share. My little man. He was watching mommy when taking these photos for this post and was such a well-behaved sport. Mommy loves you Rome.

Good night, from romey & I <3

*This post was not sponsored by anyone nor was my reviews of these books. They were simply my personal opinions that I wanted to share with you lovely ladies.*
